I am a 30 year old male who continues to have issues with Acne and VERY oily skin. Currently I am on anitbiotics, Differin Gel (days), Duac Gel (nights). My question is with regard to the oily skin. Can I use an astringent in conjection with my topical medications (ie wash, use astringent, apply topical medication)? Is there a recommeded over the counter astrigent (or other oil control med) that you can recommend for oil control?

So the astrigent which is left on will not interfere with the topical medication which is applied +/- 10 minutes later?

no, it shouldn't.

If you are unsure, rinse the astringent off after it's done it's job and cut the oil on your face.

Hope that helps!
