I am 28 yr old female. I have been on Wellbutrin XL for about 8months. I have never had problems with acne. I hardley ever had broke out even when I was a teenager. I have been trying to find out if this would be a side effect of Wellbutrin XL. I had also, at the same time I started taking Wellbutrin, started a different drug called Lamictal. I have been using Proactive, which is a product used for acne. And that has not helped at all. I would just like to know if this could be a side effect of one of my perscriptions. If it is, I will need to find some other medicine, because my acne keeps getting worse. If you could help that would be great.

Acne does not appear to be side effect of Wellbutrin XL and Lamictal.

You say that it does not appear to be a side effect. But is its possible that it could be a side effect?
