HI! A bit more information would help me to best advise you:

1) Did you see a Dermatiologist?

2) What antibiotics have you tried?

3) Is it constant? Or does it seem to get better, then worsen again?

Let me know so that I may better assist you! Donna RN

HI! A few more questions:

1) Have they prescribed steroid creams to apply?

2) Do you use Tarter Control Toothpaste?

3) Have you noticed it is worse during a particular season?

HI. Okay. Circumoral dermatitis is a common form of "acne" that can appear around the mouth and chin. This is sometimes very responsive to a medication called Eladil or Elocon, a topical cream (mometasone furoate cream). Your dermatologist can prescribe this for you. Also, Tarter Control toothpaste has been associated with a form of peri-oral dermatitis. I suggest that you stop using the tarter control toothpaste, you may see improvement in 1-2 weeks. And, get a prescription for the Elocon.

I believe you will see improvement with this strategy. Donna RN

p.s. Good luck with your wedding! You will be BEAUTIFUL!!!
