(Not a Health Question?)

I have, over night, developed acne on my back.

Sent to Health Experts April 18 12:04 PM

I have about 100 pimples on my back. The strange thing is - they just appeared all at once. Here are the details:
They are on the back of my neck and the top (center only) of my back.
They are all different sizes, some have come to a head.
They do not itch
I'm 47 and did a round of Accutane for acne in my mid 30's
I had pimples on my back and face in my 30's, but not one since the Accutane.
I've never had pimples on the back of my neck.
I'm not allergy prone.
I've not used any product, or done anything that I haven't done before. I just returned from a trip to Belize where I did a lot of scuba diving, but I did this exact same trip with the same amount of diving a 3 years ago. I took my own shampoo and soap and did not have an excess of sun exposure.
Again, it is just so odd because I didn't have them one day and the next day I was covered with them.

Thank you for your help on this question

It does not matter ,that the first time, you did not get infected ,in that occasion.

But what you probably have, is a Diving Suit Folliculitis, the suits ,used for scuba diving, can create a moist, occlusive enviroment that predisposes skin to the growth of Pseudomona Aeruginosa (a bacteria), that produced these sudden pimples , on the back of your neck and on your back.

You will need going to the doctor,to see if he thinks that you will need antibiotics ,to clear the infection , like Ciprofloxacin ,by mouth, twice a day.

In the meantime, you can use of acetic acid 5% , 4 times a day, for 20 minutes.

Thanks so much! That makes sense. I'll see my doctor as soon as possible.
