Hi.........I'm a 46 yearl old Male who has continued to suffer acne breakouts from time to time. For the last 3 days I have a a large red bump on the end of my nose.............very embarassing. I have been applying Netrogenea rapid clear.............it has not seemed to help. Can you help me?

I have already paid. Well, I have seen a Dermatologist many years ago when I was younger. The condition was much worse then. Now, at my age, it flares up now and again.........mostly now on the chin after shaving.........and the dreded nose. I'm sick of it. I was going to try Proactive but the product has Benzol Peroxide in it. I am very allergic to that........can't use.
Well...........I guess there is no answer...

Hummmmmmmmm Interesting. I have been taking a supplement called Amidren. Do you think this is causing the problem? It is supposed to raise Testosterone levels.
This supplement is supposed to combat Andropause.

Amidren is not one of the supplements listed on the National Center for Alternative and Complementary Medicine's web site, so I can't be absolute about its mode of action.

But, maybe your acne is evidence that it works. Nevertheless, assuming that your adrogen level is elevated, I can't exclude the possibility that it is NOT the result of the supplement but of something more serious.

You'd make me a happy old man if you'd at least have a talk with your physician.
