I have a 10 yrs. old boy who is adhd and is on adderall xr and risperdal. I heard that the risperdal can cause high blood sugar or even diabetes. i need to know what his blood sugar level should be for his age and what does the study show about how long they have to take this medication for in order for him to get this condition. It runs in my family too will the medication cause him to get it sooner in life?
