This is a question about preemployment drug and alcohol testing. I do not take drugs, however, I do drink wine. The extent of wine I drink is about four 6 oz glasses every evening. I also drink lots of water every day, almost 64 oz. My question is if I have this test on say the 11th of February in the afternoon, what's a safe time prior to that not to partake in order to pass the test

Hello,

The body typically processes about 1 drink per hour (0.015 BAC or about 1 glass of wine). Women are usually a little slower than this. You would probably do just fine without changing anything. However, just to be safe, I would forego any wine on February 10 just to make absolutely sure you will pass the test on the 11th.
