Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy),

The problem is alcohol can damage your liver. It is accepted that alcohol is a liver toxin.
You may have fatty liver. It means there is fatty deposits in the liver and damage your liver cells.
Liver is the organ that metabolize cholesterol. This will cause chronic liver disease in the
long term such as liver cirrhosis. I hope she will go through the treatment well.
Do take care.

Thank you

Hi again,

The damage will stop once she ceased taking alcohol.
Please make an appointment with your primary care physician to see the extend of your liver damage. He/she will start you on medication and hopefully it will reverse and gets better.
Avoid oily food and unnecessary medication to prevent from further damage.

Thank you
