Question

what is the effect of alcohol on essential tremor

Sent to Health Experts November 14, 2005 3:17 p.m.

I have a severe essential tremor. I was recently sited with an OVWI. Would the fact that I have a tremor make it appear that I was intoxicated. I consumed two (2) wine coolers (Down Home Punch) and the officer stated that I blew a .20 BAC. There is no way that this is possible, however I can't fight their machines. I also have acid reflux, which I have read will affect the accuracy of the breathalyzer test.
Please respond asap as I have my initial hearing this Friday and it appears that the general population have never heard of essential tremor nor any of its symtoms.
Thank you.
