I was wondering if someone that has been on warfarin for

I was wondering if someone that has been on warfarin for over 15 yrs. now & has had 3 blood clots in the same leg always runs out of medicine & doesn't eat right & drinks alcohol won't that affect the use of the warfarin. I feel like he's asking for trouble?
