Question

does drinking beer and alcohol raise cholestral

i've changed my diet but my cholestral count has gotten higher. could it be from drinking beer.

Probably not the alcohol. Quite the opposite actually! In some studies, alcohol has been shown to raise the good cholestrol levels, and the American Heart Association recommends 1-2 glasses of alcohol per day to lower the chances of heart disease:

As with everything, moderation is the key. In the link I sent you it also lists the negatives of too much alcohol.
