I have dull pains all throughout my middle section, mostly on either side of my stomach. Would this be the result of alcoholism, which I have been for 6 or 7 years? Should I see a doctor immediately? I had a ct scan for these pains six months ago, plus a colonoscopy, and nothing was found. Though they were not aware of my alcohol use.

This can be due to alcohol use as you may have an ulcer, liver disease, a problem with your gallbladder, or even colonitis. I would recommend that you be seen as soon as possible to allow them to perform further evaluation to determine the cause, plus do some bloodwork as well to determine what is actually causing the pain. You may have had a progression of the problem and it may not have been as noticable six months ago which is why nothing seemed abnormal. But it is not normal to continually have pain in your abdomen this way and they do need to perform tests and give a physical examination to determine what is actually causing the pain you are experiencing.
