Hi! I would call your doctor and have a culture done. In the mean time, try using warm water and salt rinses 4-5 times a day. The baking soda is not going to help and Gly Oxide is fine for minor infections, but this needs a hands on Expert to determine what is the exact cause. I had had patients with this and the rinses helped alot. You can also gargle with the salt water and that will help reduce the tenderness and pain in the throat. Increasing your Vitamin C intake will help with the infection. Don't smoke or drink alcohol as it will dry out the mouth and make it hurt more. If you have any other questions, please ask.

REMEMBER to click the ACEPT button if this has helped you. Tnanks!
