I am a 28 year old male who frequently wakes up in the night dreanched in sweat. I know that some sweating is normal it's been happening my whole life, but as of about the last 2 weeks I wake up and my sheets are completly saturated.

I set up an appointment with my doctor, I recently had sugery to reattach the tendons to my thumb on my right hand and I think I might have a slight infection. My surgery was three weeks ago and my hand is still swollen. I do have an appointment on Monday. Thank you for your time I appreciate your concern.

Hello

Well you must be taking antipyretic medicine ( which includes most painkillers ) post surgery which can be a possible cause of night sweats ,Since you have night sweats after surgery from last two weeks.
