I have been taking arginine (3000 mg), which is an amino acid, every morning for three years. Is this bad for my skin and can it cause premature aging. I am 27 know and my skin is showing sign of aging. Could the arginine and the two protein shakes a day be causing this. I am healthy with good jeans and I eat right and take alot of vitamin c and a multi daily

Hello

Instead arginine is one of the most powerful tools in any anti-aging program because of its functional value in promoting the production of HGH(Human Growth Hormone) and other hormones, strengthening the immune system. It is a normal process of ageing that begins in our mid-20s. Dead skin cells do not shed as quickly and turnover of new skin cells may decrease slightly.Extrinsic factors like sunexposure, gravity,Sleeping Positions( Resting your face on the pillow in the same way every night for years on end also leads to wrinkles),smoking & alcohol also lead to process of ageing.

For Healthier, Younger-Looking Skin Apply sunscreen having a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 15 or higher. Injectable fillers and botulinum toxin injections are also og great help. Dermabrasion, laser resurfacing are topical treatments that can restore skin & prevent further prematuure ageing.
