Hello,
There are several ways to test for alcohol in the system including urine, blood and breath tests. However the most accurate and sensitive method to test for alcohol is the blood alcohol quantitative test. However this test is only accurate for recent alcohol consumption i.e within last 1-2 days. Another method is breath test which is commonly used by police. These can also be used to do self testing at home and can give the results fairly accurately.
If several days have passed since alcohol consumption, only urine test will be reliable. The newly introduced Urine EtG is very sensitive and can detect metabolies of alcohol several days after alcohol consumption.

I hope this helps.
Regards.
