Question

Can you help my sister-in-law?

Sent to Health Experts December 14, 2007 8:07 a.m.

my sister-in-law was over at my house and shes a crack user. she was showing me these little bluish-black marks on her body and saying she thinks its the ''brillo'' coming out of her body. I thought maybe she had a splitter and tried to get one of them out. There was not an entrace place like a splitter would have. Is it possible for this ''brillo'' to be coming OUT of her body or is she halluinating?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

She is probably hallucinating and it is important for you to get her the emergency help that she needs. Someone in this condition can suffer a sudden stroke or heart attack and die very quickly. You are in danger of sharing responsibility for her death if you protect her and her drug use... it can be very difficult to feel as if you are getting your family member in trouble but it is absolutely necessary for her health. You do not need to attempt to transport her on your own. I suggest you call the local emergency room or dial 911.

These are some other numbers that will be helpful to you, but please get her emergency care at this time.
