Iam 47 years old with allergies to nickel, titanium, and surgical steel. Tested and confirmed by specialist. My problem is my L-4 and L-5 discs are in need of repair. Dr. in Portland, OR at OSHU said he would put in bone wedges through my stomach and screw them in place useing titanium. told him I was allergic. Im in constant pain with knumbness of left buttox and shooting pain down left leg. I am looking for nonevasive alternitive. Ive heard of a rubber disc procedure-Do you know where this is available? .Doctor and MRI confirmed its bone on bone -compressed disc and degenrative disc diease and scoliosis.
