ive notice tiny red blotcjes on my lower legs starting around my ankles and moving my legs in a splatter pattern what could this be? very concerned have doctors appt. next week

You dont give very much information. If the blotches are underneath the skin then this might be purpura or bruising and might indicate a platelet disorder. Your doctor will do a blood test to ensure that they are normal.

If they are more like spots then it could be something as simple as insect bites. Bites around the ankles can often be due to flea bites.

Anything to do with the skin is always hard to diagnose at a distance. You don't mention any medication (possibility of drug reaction) or allergies which also cause blotching. So I would keep an eye on them. Don't use anything on them at the moment except simple moisturisers as sometimes using the wrong cream ca change the appearnce and make it harder for doctor to diagnose.
