I Was In The Er On Feb 15 And They Told Me I Have Ovarian Adhesions And I Went To My OBGYN To Day And He Said Its nothing to Worry About The Extrem Pain Shoul dGo Away And He Will See ME On March 17?????? Its Really Painfull.

SINCE YOU ARE IN CONSIDERABLE PAIN, I'D CONTACT THE DR'S OFFICE FOR WHOMEVER IS ON CALL WITH THE OB/GYN YOU CONSULTED TODAY AND TELL HIM/HER THAT YOU ARE SUFFERING AND NEED PAIN MEDICATION. UNFORTUNATELY, OVARIAN ADHESIONS ARE PAINFUL AND MIGHT TAKE SEVERAL DAYS OR MORE BEFORE THE PAIN BECOMES SIGNIFICANTLY LESS.

WITH THE WEEKEND HERE AND MONDAY BEING A HOLIDAY, I WOULD TRY TO CONTACT THE OFFICE OF THE DR. YOU SAW TODAY AND ASK THAT THE DR. PHONE IN A PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION TO HELP YOUR PAIN. THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO SUFFER TERRIBLY THROGUH THE WEEKEND. WHEN YOU TALK TO THE DR., BE SURE TO TELL HIM/HER IF YOU HAVE ANY DRUG ALLERGIES AND WHAT MEDICATIONS YOU ARE TAKING.

FOR A PALLIATIVE COMFORT MEASURE, GET INTO THE BATHTUB IF YOU ARE ABLE TO DO THIS AND SOAK IN SOME WARM WATER. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DO THIS, APPLY A HEATING PAD TO THE AREA. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A HEATING PAD, TAKE A WASHCLOTH OR HAND TOWEL AND PLACE IT IN HOT WATER AND THEN PLACE IT INTO A PLASTIC BAG AND PLACE THIS WHERE IT HURTS.
