I have had swollen glands in my neck on and off for three months now. Could this be due to allergies or stress or both? I do not get proper sleep due to my job and family responsibilities, maybe 5 hours and then sometimes only 3 and 4 hours. i do not have insurance, so that makes the situation even more stressful. Could you please shed some light on my problem and maybe advise as to what you think? Thanks, Shannon

Hello

Stress and lack of proper sleep can reduce your immunities in your body. This could possibly cause swollen glands, as your body is fighting off things and working harder than usual. If you don't feel sick otherwise, you are probably okay, but you really do need to try to reduce your stress and get more sleep before it does turn into something more serious.

And yes, this can be caused by allergies as well.
