why do i have so much nasal mucus?

why do i have so much nasal mucus? i wake up in the morning and sneeze about 10 to 15 times and use up a box of tissues a day. this has been like this since i was a child. I am now 21. please advise me on what this could be caused by and how i can reduce the amount of sneezing and mucus. I do not drink much milk I know this causes mucus, I have stopped smoking, and I change my pillows, sheets and pillowcases regularly. Thank you very much for your time.
