if i'm allergic to pickeral, am I allergic to most fish?

I know I can't eat pickeral, but can I eat other kinds of fish (salmon) without incident?

Hi,

Yes, if you are allergic to one fish, you are likely to be allergic to all fish. Most fish allergies are to a particular protein which is found in the muscles of all fish. Hence fish allergies extend to all varieties of fish.
