I live in GA and know it may be allergies but I have had a stuffy nose for almost 2 months and I have had hard crusty build up, specifiically in the front of my nose and I have tried nasacort and Ocean saline spray that helps a little.   Could it be an infection? Please advise.

Hi,

Nasal crusting can be due to variety of causes ranging from nose bleeds, chronic sinusitis, atrophic rhinitis, or a bacterial infection .

This needs a nasal examination by an ENT specialist for further evaluation .
