I would like to speak to an allergy expert. - 2 weeks ago I received a new bedroom set- it is pine- I had an allergic reaction that night- my throat felt like it was closing- but I also have seasonal allergies right now. I could not sleep in the room for the last couple of weeks- I have been airing out the furniture and putting fans on it. I like the furniture- and I am not sure whether I would have the same problem with any new furniture. I saw this product safeseal which is supposed to help with formaldehyde outgassing of furniture. I am not sure whether it is the finish or the wood itself that is irritating to me. I slept in the room the last couple of nights -my allergies are bothering me and it still feels kind of overwhelming at times. What should I do? Is it the wood or something else I am allergic to? Should I try coating it w the safeseal? Should I get rid of it? I have no bedroom furniture- some people say allergicpeopleshouldonlyuseusedfurnit. Doesitposealongtrmhelthrisk?

Hello,

Have you tried an air purifier in the room?
