Question

face swelling-pain

Sent to Health Experts April 12, 2005 3:18 a.m.

I have had sypmtoms that have progressivley worsened in the last year. They started one and a half years ago. It started with sweeling around my right eye, went into my cheek, now is my whole face. including my head.I also have "mucus" that constantly comes UP in my throat.I get short of breath the last month or so also.I am hoarse at times. I am a smoker. My history in my family is lung cancer (father died), diabetes, colon cancer, renal failure. I have had a cat scan of my sinus’s and recently my head. All normal. My syptoms are getting worse and i am very frustrated as to why they can not find out what is wrong. With the swelling it also is painful in my face. Feels as though there is "fluid" behind the swelling. Can you please help!
