I have had problems with my right arm and hand for four ...

I have had problems with my right arm and hand for four years now I had carpal tunnel and had a operation to correct it which did work as i dont have pins and needles any more but my arm is seriously painful most of the time, often bringing me to tears it seems to originate from my shoulder and neck I also have a very tender spot under my armpit?

Greetings.

The origin of the pain needs to be investigated by various means like MRI of cervical spine (neck), electromyography, and nerve conduction studies (EMG & NCV). You may be right that it may be because of the cervical disc disease (pinched nerves). Read about the pinched nerves;

The specialists concerned to handle this problem are either neurologist or physiatrist (MD in physical medicine and rehabilitation).
