I first noticed my problem about 6 yrs ago when I was drying off from a shower when I thought there was a piece of glass stuck in my towel. There was nothing harmful stuck in my towel. As I would extend my arm fully that is where I would feel a severe sharp burning/cutting pain on the inside of my forearm closer to my hand than to my elbow. It gradually got worse, then after about a month it went away. Now this happens to me about 2 times a year. Each time I get this pain, I think about any stress that I may have caused myself. (too much shoveling, moving furniture, improper body mechanics, etc.....). I have had an EMG, and have had my blood tested for anything that may be causing this type of pain, but the appt. took a while to get, and by the time I saw a Dr. the pain was minimal. While there is no pain as I am typing here, there is numbness if I touch the spot where I get the pain when I extend my arm straight.
