side arm medication

Sent to Health Experts September 20 07:14 PM

I went to the emrgency room on September 8th. I had recieved 3rd degree burns to my leg. While I was being treated they started an I.V. with some pain medication aswell as some antibiotics. they cleaned the burn then disconected the I.V., but they left the I.V. in my arm so that I could come back the next morning. When I arrived the next morning they injected some pain meds into the I.V., They said it may burn alittle. It was agonizing and all the veins running up my arm turned very red, on the under side. It is now the 20th and the vein they used on the top of my right wrist is very hard and one of the vessels on the underside of my forarm is hard as well. It's very painful and my arm is going to sleep at night is this normal at all??
