yr old female experiencing shortness of breath for several

63 yr old female experiencing shortness of breath for several days, today experiencing numbness and tingling in both hands and arms. Have stent in one artery. How important to get immediate care?? Doctor not in today. Not panicky, just asking.   Thank you.

Given the prior history of a stent, and significant symptoms, a visit to ER is possibly mandated. The symptoms do not fit with any obvious disease, and if the symptoms are stable/ reducing then waiting for a day maybe alright too. In the meantime avoiding exertion would be a good idea. Any worsening should definitely be taken seriously, as would any signs of heart involvement like chest pain, tightness along chest, left arm pain etc.
