I think I may have a virus I am a nursing student who has been doing her clinical on an oncology/med surg floor. Starting last night I developed a rash on my forearms, ankles and calves. I was also awaken out of a deep sleep with shoulder and arm pain. It felt like I slept on my arm and cut off the circulation. It happened intermittently through the night and felt like bad spasms. Today the spasms disappeared but my joints were so achey that it definitely hinder my daily routine. Now tonight the rash on my ankles got really bad and itchy. I took bendrayl and it has helped somewhat. What might I have?
