My husband showed me some spots on his arm this ...

My husband showed me some spots on his arm this morning...only one arm...they are about a quarter in size there are two of them...they don't itch or hurt...but look like what I thought ring-worm might look. What do you think? ohhh they are no color ...I know it's not cancer...but what could it be? They are like empty in the center...with a dotted appearance around the circle.
