Question

So I am around 20, and my shoulder has been bothering me ...

So I am around 20, and my shoulder has been bothering me for the past couple of years. When I put my arm out horizontally and bend my ebow towards the ground, if I twist my shoulder back and forth it will make a big pop sound when it comes back to the originall position. Now this has been happening since I was around 13. It didn't start hurting until I started to lift weights heavily. I can work through the pain, but it does seem to hinder the amount I can lift. Also when I throw a ball it really doesn't hurt that bad, but when I try to throw the long ball it gets painful. I would just like to know what could be causing this, and if I can continue lifting and throwing?
