My mother was bitten by a spider some time over the past week and her arm was swollen and red. The swelling has gone down but it is still quite red with a small bruise or purple spot in the center. Should she go to the ER or is it something she can just watch? We don't know what kind of spider it was. Is there even anything they will do for her at this point in the ER?
