deep intramuscalar lipoma of right levetor scapular muscle
Sent to Health Experts May 31 02:22 AM

I have been in chronic pain for over a year. It started with lower back pain, then spinal back pain, then neck and shoulder pain and weakness. I repeated asked for x-rays but did not get them at the time. I was being treated with Lortab, Flexeril, and Ibprubian 600.
Over the corse of time I noticed a knot in my neck, I was told it was an enlarged muscle and was sent to phsycal therapy. I became pregnate. I still continued physical therapy for 4 monthes and still was taking the lortab. The baby was not born addicted to lortab, thank god. After I had the baby my symptoms got worse.Neck and back has a continuos burning pain, I had developed boughts of sciatica. My blood pressure which was always abnormally low had shot up sky high. I was still on the lortab, and was also put back on the flexeril and ibprubian. After about a couple of monthes my pain meds stopped working. I was given a higher dose of ibprubian and switch to baclofen. That worked for a couple of weeks and the ibrubian and baclofen I feel are still doing their job but was till not getting any pain relief. I was going through 100 lortabs in 2 weeks for 3 monthes. Finally I was sent to a ENT. Had a MRI and discover that I have a deep intramuscalar lipoma in the right levator scapula muscle. the mass also displaces the right spenius capitis muscle medially, but the splenius capitis does not appear to be involved in the mass. After my doctor found this out she finally gave me some percocet. I went through 100 in 2 weeks. I still have my other med but are completely out of pain meds and she won't write me another script she said I went through them too quickly. But before this I went to the emergency room yesterday because like i said I was out of pain meds. THe ER doctor would not treat me he gave me 2 percacet and pushed me out the door, accused me of drug seeking. Do you think that was ethical? I was in the ER 10 days prior because I was in so much pain that I have taken my daily dose of 8 percocet, 2400milligrams of ibprubian, and 3 baclfen and still hadn't gotten any relief from the pain. But she saw that I still had all my meds percocts and all. My regular doctor said that she has to refer me to a pain center which is fine but she said that that can take up to a week to get in. What am I to Do for pain until then. Do you think I am being treated fairly. I'm suppose to have surgery July10th and the doctor said that I may be paralyzed in my arm for 6 monthes.
