I have a really bad burn that is 1" X 1", I think it is 2rd or 3rd degree. I could see the capilary veins- the blister peel off within hours. It is 3 days old- There is a small red area surrounding it. It is not too swollen, But my arm feels really tight. Now I can see it is covered with hard layer, I can see yellow with red dots. I had some leftover amoxacillin so I took 1,000mg yesterday evening, 850mg this morning and planning to continue until the pills I have left are gone. I'm 22 and have no insurance. I tried 3Xantibiotic ointment for a few hours and it looked like it was becoming more infected, so I washed it off. I wash it 3-4X a day with Jergens antibacterial hand soap. I lather and run for about 30 seconds. I can just feel tightness, not really much pain at all.
