About 6 weeks ago I noticed a small lump under the skin on my left forearm, about four inches below my elbow. It doesn't hurt or itch although I did notice it initially when I scratched my arm after being outside for a few hours. My family doctor believed it was a bug bite but did say if it didn't go away I would need a biopsy and it could take "a long time, 4 to 6 weeks to go away." It isn't any bigger but it certainly isn't any smaller. Is it time for a follow up? Any ideas on what it may be if it is not an insect bite? Thank you!
