Reply to Lindie's Post: He said there is no pain, and is is not red.
He does have hereditary spastic disorder( as does his father and one brother). They do not have this conditon. Sweat pours out of him while he is not even active.

It sounds like he may have a condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa.

Let me know if this sounds like the problem he has been having. The first link is a patient handout from the American Academy of Family Physicians, the second is an article on the condtion and its treatment, and the third is a hidradenitis suppurativa association.

Reply to Family Physician's Post: No it does not sound the same. There is just swelling and leakage in the arm pit. There is no pain, no pus, no flare ups. This is 24 - 7.
There is swelling of the arm pits. There is sweat dripping constantly( like a leaky faucet). He is disabled and does nothing but sit at the computer all day. He says there is no pain.

When you say that there is "leakage", I'm not sure if you mean just sweat or somthing else. I still believe this may be the problem. I would recommend that he see a physician familiar with these problems - most likely a dermatologist or a surgeon.

If this is NOT the problem, then he may just have hyperhidrosis a condition of just excessive sweating - there are number of things that can be tried for this including Botox injections.
