Headaches, numbness tingling weakness passing out

Sent to Health Experts July 02, 2006 9:31 p.m.

Over the past 2 years my daughter now 16 has had spell of weakness in her arms hands feet and legs she also has numbness and tingling in hands and feet. During this time she has also had severe headaches that last for days. They have run blood work and bone scans she has had 2 cat scans of the brain they say they see nothing wrong. when these spells happen she is also dizzy and her vision will blur. This past Thursday she had laid out in the sun for 40 min. She ate breakfast around 11;30 then laid out.
She came in to eat lunch and as she went down the hall she told me she didnt feel good as she got to the bathroom she said she felt nauseated as she turned to dry her hands she passed out and hit the floor I began to check her pulse it was below 50 she was not out long after a few minutes when I thought she was alert enough I tried to stand her up and her eyes rolled back and she went out again. During this she was complaining of numbness in her arms hands and feet legs from knee down. I called 911 ambulance took her to hospital. Also blood sugar when checked appr. 45 min after passing out was 60. The doctor said he thought it was vasovagal synscope. She still has the numbness in arms hands and feet legs she is even walking with a limp.Says herlimbs almost feel like their not their complains that her right hand wants to draw. Everything seems to be on the right side now. They did a cat scan again and said everything was normal. Help need some advice where do we go next. and could this possibly be MS Some symtoms are the same as my grandmother who had MS. Could this be the start. Thank you Charlton Spainhour XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX

REPLIED Check Mark

Hello,

Has she been seen by a neurologist? Has she had an EEG?

Does she have any pain in her neck or back? Does she participate in sports?
