Doctor: I have a sore left arm and nerves tinglig in my hand. I went to doctor and were tested for a stroke and I was fine. I still have soreness in my arm and tingling feeling in my fingers. I discuss this with my wife who is a RN that works in ICU/CCU for 25 years about the problem, she think I have some kind of nerve damage that causing my fingers to tinglig. I have not lost any strength on my left side. I do have damage finger nail on my left hand on the index finger near thumb, could this be causing the problem. Its hard for me to sleep on my left side anymore and my fingers are always tinglig. I have two medical Insurances Plans, we have Health Net through my job and Pacific Care through my wife job. Your analyst of this problem would greatly appreciated. My name is Customer (name blocked for privacy), I live in Rialto. Ca 92377, telephone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. Hello A.J.,

I agree with your wife. This may be a pinched nerve as your symptoms are classic.

I would suggest making an appointment with your doctor; however, having suffered a pinched nerve myself, I have found the best treatment was seeking a consult with a chiropractor.

When I went to my doctor, he wrote a prescription for pain medication, but I really didn't want to take it long term. A docor that I worked with in the OR, referred me to a chiropractor and my symptoms resolved in two weeks.

The chiropractor performed deep tissue massage, gentle stretching & rotation exercise, along with heat, ice and other modalities.

If you are not sure about the chiropractor, you could ask your doctor for a prescription for Physical Therapy.
