I had MSRA about a year ago that started out looking like a spider bite. It took 2 years to discover and was treated in hospital for 3 days with vancomycin IV and then at home IV for abouy 10 days. I have a new spider like bite under my arm near arm pit and have been putting topical mupirocin ointment on it for 3 days now and have little to no improvement. Please adivse.
