Can I just ask if you are male or female?

Are the knots reds, hot and swollen?

Is there any skin dimpling, broken skin or discharge from either skin or nipple?

How is your general health? Any weight loss, night sweats or lumps elsewhere?

Thanks, I will try and help if I can.

The knots under the arms indicate swollen lymph nodes. These are usually swollen for bacterial, fungal or viral infections. The lymph nodes under the arms drain from the breast area so would be related to the knot at the nipple. It may be that the antibiotic course was not long enough to completely eradicate the infection so you definitely need to go back to your doctor for a review.

Skin infections at a lower level can be difficult to treat so request that a lymph node biopsy is done or swab taken to identify the exact bacteria involved.

Does this help?
