24 years ago a radiologist inadvertantly injected contrast dye into my spinal cord leaving me with a permanent injury to this day. This was confirmed by a neurologist doing a second myelogram showing contrast dye within the spinal cord. The immediate symptoms was a feeling of being electrocuted and my right arm stayed in a curled position with severe lack of sensitivity.
About 13 years ago I started having severe shoulder & arm pain and most test came out negative. Around 8 years ago I began having migrain headaches and most recently I have trouble lifting my arms, severe stiffness especially after resting or sitting for more than 1/2 hour. I had pretty much given up on help for this and do the best I can till I came across the description of SM. I am now 56 years old. Could this finally be what I have been suffering from? One last bit of info which may or may not fit anywhere, my arms overnight swelled, near my wrist and never went down since even though they check for conective tissue disease.
Optional Information: Female , Age: 56
Already Tried: Just miscellaneous tests, most of which came out negative.
