I have had 2 scope procedures to correct issues w/ a TFCC tear in my right wrist (initial just to clean up cartilage, 2nd to shorten ulna bone a 2-3 mm).   After minimal success, I am going in for surgery to shorten the ulna bone more, and have a metal plate and screws inserted. What should expect as for the recovery pain and timing compared to the scopes (this one is an open incision, obviously). Lastly, I had short arm casts after the last 2, should I expect the same, or a long arm cast? Thank you for your time and help.
