Why, when I fall, is it always to my right side?
Sent to Health Experts February 14 09:19 AM

About 6 weeks ago, I became very dizzy in a store and just tood still unti it passed holding onto a shelf. two weeks ago, I tripped up a curb and feel to my right side just bruising my knee and leg. Last week, I had a migraine at work and took tylenol and was fine except for the soreness in my left side of my head. Yesterday, I tripped over the rug and again fell to my right side. Today, I have a dull headache on the right side of my head. Could there be more to this tripping of is it because I have degenerative disk and joint disease? (Had L5-S1 removed years ago)

Hi,

It is possible that the dizziness and the tripping is as a result of TiA (transient ischemic attack). It can be caused by the impaired blood flow to the neck. You can have ultrasound of the carotid arteries to see if there is any narrowing or partial blockage. Trpping also can come from degenerative disk diseae and arthritis of the lumbar spine. So you need an x-ray and MRI of your lumbar spine. For your Migraine you may need a prescription medication which can help you more than tylenol.
I hope this helps.
