There are several causes to feeling dizzy. It could be inner ear related, infections, change in head positions, vertigo, Meniere's disease, which affects the volume of fluid in the inner ear, low blood sugar, neurologic disorders, diet, food allergies.

Has he checked with an ENT? As this may be someone he may want to follow up with.

Reply to Lindie's Post: he has been to an ENT, a neurologist, had an MRI, CT scan, lots of bood work. HE has had a stress test, a doppler of his carotids, and all is normal. They have treated him with Doxycyline at our insistence for Lyme disease. We live in an extremely wooded area with lots of deer and they are being moved out by development nearby so we asked the DR to treat him for Lyme disease and we'll see how it works. His condition has improved slightly but he is still light headed/dizzy. Hi B/P Colesterol etc are all normal. Antivert had no effect. Audiogram Tympanogram all normal.
Please advise??????
