Hello my friend,

I understand your concerns and I will do everything I can to help you. I am also available to answer any follow up questions that you may have. Please keep in mind that although I can help give you an idea of what may the cause of your pain you would still need to be seen by a doctor to be properly diagnosed.

There could be many possible causes to your hand pain. However one of the most common causes as we age is arthritis. Arthritis is basically a condition which causes inflammation in the joints. Osteoarthritis is a generative joint disease and is more commonly seen as people age. It is believed that this can be caused by overuse. If you tend to use your hands often your symptoms may also be from carpal tunnel syndrome.

Have you ever had this type of pain before? Do you use your hands often to build things or use them in repetitive motions?

There are some other possible causes to your pain and only a doctor can properly diagnose what is causing your pain. I hope this helps. Please click on accept otherwise please request more information. I am always here to help.

Have a great day!

Sarah :)
