I am a patient with psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis. I have beeen on remicaide for over two years and have been doing very well. I was stupid enough to miss one months dose. I finally went back to the doctor because I was having a flare up. I had the remicade infusion. The flare up got worse, so they gave me a shot of solumedrol. That day I had a horrible flare up after the shot. they put me on prednisone 10 mg every day. It has helped. They told me to cut back to 10 mg one day and 5 mg the other day. I did this. I had an infusion three days ago of remicade. Today My hands had another flare up.

I never stopped the prednisone. I am on a lower dose.

Will they ever get this under control ?
