I hava RA and my Dr. had mentioned something about me having, is it CCP or CPP if one of them are right what is it exactly?

What the doctor mentioned are CCP antibodies , these are antibodies found in the blood of patient with Rheumatoid Arthritis .

Usually , having this substance (CCP) positive is associated with an increased risk of developing more joint and bone damage than a patient who does not have these CCP in the blood . For this reason , the doctor will give you a more aggresive treatment to combat this disease .
