My doctors are still trying to tell if I am diabetic. They say that with my glucose at 1:30 or after in the afternoon without having anything to eat since the morning at about 5-6:30am with my levels at over 100 but I don't think they have ever been much over 120 are signs of diabetic so they are treating me as if I am diabetic, they have me on Metformin and now they want me to test my sugar twice a week only. What is the best way to space it out my testing so I get average for fasting, and after meals how would you test if only need twice a week. like how many days apart and times of days

Hi,

As such you can get Hba1c test every 3-6 months to check how well your sugar is under control .For an average you can get your fasting and PP blood sugar twice a week as suggested by your doctors eg at 3 or 4 days interval .

Hope this helps
